laments on half-life 2’s ai and balance

just watched back this video i did about soldier AI in half-life 2 years ago and i still agree with it! what a relief

later, i got to speak to some of the folks who worked on these things, and they also agreed with it, but i wish the video spent more time on exactly how hard this stuff is, and especially how delicate it can be.
